Tax Exemption - But should be taxed

In the US, Religious organizations are tax exempt.

Religion is big business in this country and should be taxed like all other businesses.

Once churches start running to the government for taxpayer money, it is high time that they are audited, taxed accordingly, and treated like the businesses that they represent in our society similar to the rest of the services economy.

Interestingly, other large employers like US based cruise lines like NCLH, CCL, RCL appealed for PPE but were denied as they had HQs outside USA and did not pay anything in US taxes for the most part.
